We have recently been accepted to participate in the Adobe Youth Voices program.
Launched in June 2006, Adobe Youth Voices is the Adobe Foundation's global signature philanthropy program designed to provide youth in underserved communities with the critical skills they need to become active and engaged members of their communities and the world at large. The Adobe Foundation invests nearly US$7 million per year in the Adobe Youth Voices program, primarily through training, educational resources, and grants. The program also leverages software donations and employee volunteers from Adobe Systems Incorporated.
With a focus on empowering youth, Adobe Youth Voices supports young people in and out of school and encourages the use of cutting-edge multimedia tools to communicate and share their ideas, demonstrate their potential, and take action where they live.

The Adobe Youth Voices global network currently includes more than 500 sites and a large, expanding number of grantees and organizations in 32 countries. Since its inception, Adobe Youth Voices has engaged over 27,000 youth and 1,500 educators in schools and out-of-school programs.

Intel Computer Clubhouse Network Scholarships

C2C Scholarship
The C2C (Clubhouse to College/Clubhouse to Career) Scholarship is open to Members and Alumni from Clubhouses around the Network.  The scholarship ranges in amounts of $2,500-$5,000 (US) and is a one time, non-renewable award.

STEM Scholarship
The STEM (science, technology, engineering and/or math) Scholarship is intended to provide resources to selected Computer Clubhouse alumni to continue their studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering and/or math.  Applicants for this scholarship must have a declared major in a STEM study to be eligible. The scholarship amount is $10,000 (US) and is available to new applicants as well as Members who have received a C2C Scholarship in the past. This is also a one time, non-renewable award.
The Clubhouse is guided by four principles:

*    The Clubhouse focuses on "constructionist" activities, encouraging young people to work as designers, inventors, and creators.
*    The Clubhouse encourages youth to work on projects related to their own interests.
*    The Clubhouse aims to create a sense of community, where young people work together with one another with support and inspiration from adult mentors.
*    The Clubhouse is dedicated to offering resources and opportunities to those who would not otherwise have access to them.

The Computer Clubhouse gives participants the opportunity to become designers and creators--not just passive consumers--of technology. The Clubhouse provides the resources, materials, and tools for young people to develop projects in the following areas:

- Sound Engineering
- Digital Video Editing
- Graphic Design
- Animation
- Robotics
- Web Design
- Video Game and Interactive Programming
