Becoming a volunteer is easy!
Anyone interested in volunteering at the Club must be fingerprinted and attend an orientation. Volunteer orientations take place the last Thursday of the month at 6 pm at the Maxwell Clubhouse. Please RSVP to Robyn Cabrera at firstname.lastname@example.org or 938.8544 x104.
Volunteers will review basic BGCSV information and cover the general guidelines and expectations for volunteers.1482
The Reading Buddies program is a great opportunity for volunteers who want to help our younger members who struggle with reading. Reading buddies will be paired with our 1st-3rd grade member students for one hour a week, Monday-Friday between 4-6 pm and read together. Volunteers must participate in our volunteer orientation prior to becoming a reading buddy.
